About Fletch

Why we
built Fletch.

College sports money turned into a scramble of collectives and opportunists chasing the next deal. We thought students deserved something cleaner: a real scholarship, awarded on merit, in the open.

One conviction.

Fletch began with a simple belief: students who lead and serve their communities deserve real support, earned on merit, not handed out for what they do in competition.

The gap

A market in a hurry.

College NIL grew fast. There was money everywhere, and very little of it was built to be clean, accountable, or lasting.

The model

Merit, in the open.

We built an independent 501(c)(3). Scholarships are decided through a documented, arm’s-length process, on leadership, service, and impact, and paid directly to the student.

Today

Open by design.

Fletch is built for universities, donors, and students who believe support should be earned and defensible. We keep the model simple, and we keep it clean.

What we stand for

The standard
we hold.

Four commitments that keep Fletch independent, clean, and defensible. They are the reason a university can stand behind us.

Independent

We answer to no one’s roster.

No team, no booster, no collective directs a Fletch decision. Every choice is ours to make and ours to defend.

Merit, not athletics

The field has no vote.

Students are selected on leadership, service, and impact. What happens in competition has no bearing on a Fletch scholarship.

Transparent

We show our work.

We document how students are chosen and how scholarships are structured. Our model is built to direct the large majority of each scholarship dollar to the student.

Defensible

Built for a compliance office.

An independent 501(c)(3) with an arm’s-length selection process, designed so a university can stand behind it.

Leadership

The people behind it.
